Saturday, December 6, 2025, 11:00 am These unique 80’ high parabolic dunes, created by strong northwesterly shifting winds, are slowly marching southeastward covering all in their path. Passing through a maritime pitch pine woodland we will see signs of the Phantom forest. Cradled in the dunes are bogs which are host to many rare and unusual plants. OPEN SESSION SKETCHBOOK CLUB Monthly at Third House, Montauk Sketchbook Club meets one Friday each month throughout the year, to capture the flora and seasonal colors, landscape, atmospheres of the year! We work in a 9 x 6" sketchbook (or size of your choice), each week we explore a different technique or art making theme.
